I hope that the dog's previous owner is found, stuck in a cage, then left to drown in the incoming tide.

Hopefully the rescued animals will be reunited with their human companions. If they didn't have one or their human companion perished in the blaze, may they find a new one who will care for the animal the way they should.

An update on the young man whose car literally went flying: he suffered a broken right arm, both legs broken, a pulmonary contusion and broken thoracic vertebrae. Surgeons fixed his spine with titanium rods and other surgeries are scheduled for later on.
Needless to say, he's out for the rest of the racing season.
