Do Christians really belief in The Bible God of Jesus Christ?

I believe that Christians should be in favor of turning the cheek

Jesus spoke in great lengths about what he means by this

Mat 5:38 ........... it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek - turn to him the other also.

if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat - let him have thy cloke also.
whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile - go with him two. ...... him that would borrow ..... don't turn away. .....love Your Enemies

Mat 5:43 ........it hath been said, ....... love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Luk 6:22 ....when men shall hate you, and separate you from their company, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. :23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven.... Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. .......him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other;

One thing i keep in mind here is that Jesus was speaking to a Hebrew nation who were made up of tribes and families and explaining how to work together as a family and community

even when

someone slaps your face in a burst of anger
someone steals from you when they are hungry
someone curses you and lies about you
someone ignores you and rejects you
someone takes you to court in a lawsuit

is this not the context of what Jesus was saying ?

I've always been puzzled about how this might work.
Does silence equal consent?
Does tolerance of those behaviors enable those behaviors?
When is it religiously appropriate to have a more assertive response?
When is it religiously appropriate to set boundaries? Consequences for violating boundaries?

that can be a very, very stinging question

after you pull the stinger out do you swat the creature that refuses to leave you alone or just continue to be stung and harmed.

after ones cheek has been beaten to a bloody pulp can a Christian realize that this is not a two slap family or neighborly quarrel

I would point out these are general Christian principles ...

But then Jesus was not always inclined to 'turn the other cheek' – at times He could be sharp and forceful, if not aggressive then passive-aggressive – it's clear that where He saw hypocrisy He 'took no prisoners' as the saying goes.

So yes, He shrugged off insult, and forgave every offence, but in the modern context of 'love the sinner, not the sin', He went for the sin with a vengeance, and if an individual happened to be the mouthpiece, then they were surely collateral damage.

He was clearly challenging – He upset and enraged a lot of people.

One might say He's the exemplar and embodiment of 'tough love'.
