As the transit of Venus occurs across the path of the Solar disc, I find myself reflecting upon the esoteric component of this Great event.
As some may be aware, Mankind's pedigree dates back approximately 21,688,425 years, although these figures will prove useless to astrologers for some time to come. This has everything to do with Venus, again for reasons which should be familiar to students of the Ageless Wisdom. The point is, we have been around awhile. A *long* while, even though most of us cannot remember beyond a few short years or decades.
Venus, as it turns out, is our spiritual Elder, as is the Sun, though the latter by quite an additional degree of evolution. As Democritus put it, "“Deity is but a soul in an orbicular fire" ... and this evening we witness the tiny orb of Venus calling our attention to the HEART of our little Solar System, the same SOUL on the Macrocosmic scale, relative to the Sun's set of planets, as the Solar Principle exists on the lesser scale, within the human constitution. Or, to put it another way, those Mayans, Egyptians and Dogons weren't DUMB.
Without Venus, and the *Living Sacrifice* of the Kumaras, the Fires of Mind would as yet remain fairly quiescent within the Humanity of Planet Earth, unfolding far more slowly, and perhaps routinely than has already occurred. As a result of this Great Experiment [21 million years and running], untold possibilities already await us for the future **IF** we can learn to harness our true Potential (in terms of both Power and Mind), hitching these twin-horses to our chariot and steering the ternary unit with LOVING-Compassionate VISION.
MANAS, for those unfamiliar with Sanskrit origins, is the word for Mind, and the root of the word `Man' ~ the Essence of the Human Kingdom, as distinct from all others (including the Angelic/Devic, as well as the sub-Human Kingdoms). The Kumaras, arriving from Venus at the above specified date, did not technically bestow the gift of Mind upon the infant {Earth} Humanity ... yet the stimulation was such that for all intent & purposes, we might put it thus. And They are known, as we might guess, to every system of religion, spiritual philosophy and Angelology that any Human mind has ever conceived.
VISION, as we discover, correlates with the Ajna Center between the eyebrows, sometimes called `the Third Eye.' Christ spoke of this in saying, "When thine Eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of LIGHT" ... and the Buddha, exemplar of Taurean energies for Humanity {known in Christian exotericism as `the Holy Spirit' ~ much akin to MANAS}, has an obvious connection with these FORCES of ENLIGHTENMENT on both a Planetary, and a Solar/Cosmic scale.
What, then, might we hope to contribute as individuals to the Group Understanding of a Vision for the Future of Humanity (on this, and all such Spiritual occasions)? And how can we go about achieving this in practical terms? These are the questions we might ask ourselves as we look into the SHADOW of the Planet, the GREAT ENTITY, Whom and which brought us ...
... the Promethean FIRE {of MIND}, the impetus to BECOME all that we are meant to Become {as individuals} and to ~ in thus Becoming ~ reach out to our Group Brothers and Sisters, SERVING one another ... as Christ, the Buddha, and all of the Great Ones have long Served {both among, and directly TO} US.
[I remember the effect of the `Shadow' of another, passing by, incidentally, and Healing those who were thereby touched ... and one might well reflect upon the Greater parallel on this occasion, if one knows the Hermetic Axiom.]
Here, at this Full Moon Festival, the Wesak Blessing of the Buddha is released by the Christ/Bodhisattva {Who Himself wields the higher vehicles of the former Buddha as part of His Responsibility for the New Era} to all the Senior Members of the Spiritual Hierarchy, distributed via all Senior Initiates to all Disciples of every rank, steered by the New Group of World Servers to all members of Humanity everywhere ... thereby Illuminating every dark corner of the Globe, and thereby furthering the Great Purposes of the Lord of the World for Planetary SPIRITUAL Evolution at this time.
Such an ominous event, occurring annually and now coupled with an opportunity to experience Venus bearing WITNESS, (to) the Lord of Shambhala, is surely enough to cause the meek heart to tremble, equally as the man of courage steps forth bravely to accept whatever new Responsibilities are assigned him.
As an exoteric occurrence, the pen of the scientist can quite easily explain ~ in secular and satisfactory terms ~ why we are witnessing what we are witnessing, with equally phenomenal numbers as those I have earlier provided (regarding the antiquity of our close relationship with our Spiritual Superior).
As the chance to FOCUS CLEARLY, without interference from the personality instrument, concerns from our daily routine, or the humdrummity of outer events which 99% of the time claim the greatest bulk of our attention ... I should think this is an occasion which some of us will use precisely as we have been taught, by THOSE WHO KNOW, and by Those Who have long Cooperated with the WILL of Shambhala ~ as the alternative is not only foolish, but futile.
When an individual recognizes that Love's Power is potentially UNlimited, s/he may begin to grasp the truth of the statement that the Power-to-Love is also, therefore, not limited ... and all manner of unforseen or unfathomed possibilities become opened.
Vision, where it involves the GOOD of the Whole, or what we call the Greatest Good of the greatest number ... is, simliarly, an open Book to him who would cooperate with the Lord (His Master) and usher in {some small part of} the PLAN.
Conversations with individuals who cannot grasp that Yes, God too, PLANS, are wasted time, wasted energy, wasted effort.
Those who would argue instead of giving Thanks for the Sanctity of the occasion and making Good of the opportunity on *whatever* level they are most capable ... have already squandered and misdirected what energies were automatically present ~ and on this subject, of GRACE, I shall say no more ... to those unprepared to hear it.
As is said, the mind slays the Real; thus the Disciple must slay the slayer ...
