As you've probably noticed, since moving the forums to the new server, there have been a few errors on the board - for example, avatars no longer showing up.

However, this weekend I plan to do a full upgrade of the forum software from vbulletin 3 to xenforo.

Things might seem a little different at first, but for most intents and purposes, everything should be more of less the same. PM's will become known as Conversations, and you'll be able to invite more than one person into them. Also, we'll have a feature that shows unread posts - and unlike the current system, this will not time out after an hour. We'll also have a "Likes" system, which is something we may find useful. :)

I'll try and make everything look as similar as possible so that the change is less disruptive.

How exciting! Looking forward to exploring the new functions. I hope we get a lager inbox, it's a bit painful deleting messages from people you'll never here from again. And I know wil will like the 'Like' system!

Moving is always stressful but in the end it is a good thing..

Right, apologies for the bug issues yesterday - should be all fixed now.

Any problems logging in, please do email me at admin@interfaith .org

Everything looks good from here so for, good job!

Just noticed I lost my Rep, you can change it back now...

A little confused how to tell when a new post was added to a particular forum. But figured it out. As a 'new' forum, each subject heading had unread posts, so to speak. I marked all threads as read and they all turn grey. Now when a new post comes along it turns black again. Problem solved!

Did I notice a forum move? I think I lost two or three posts, nothing important, as usual, but just letting you know.

Apologies for the thread disappearance - that would have been from the server move, which I mis-timed, I'm afraid.

The "New posts" button is wonderfully useful - not only do you end up on the last unread post of a thread (instead of having to scroll through the pages), but the list remains unread until either you specifically "Mark Forums Read" or else a month goes by - I have been caught out so often in the past by the latest posts list refreshing before I'd finished with it, leaving me with no idea as to which threads were new.

Also - we have the "Like" function - I presume you can all see that?

Please do note the "Report" link at the bottom of a post, for if you see spam or other shannigans. :)
