I have a book on my Amazon wishlist about Hindu philosophy, but it's proving expensive and difficult to get. However, it was a somewhat random choice as I really don't know what I should be looking for in terms of reliability and coverage.

Therefore can anyone here recommended any specific books on Hindu philosophy? I'm especially looking for something that explores the diversity, rather than attempts to tie it all into a single unified system.

As far as actual bound books are concerned, I have none to recommend, as, aside from the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, most of my knowledge of Hindu philosophy comes from the internet.

However, you may find this useful, as it explains many of the philosophies found within Hinduism...

Well there's always the Very Short Introductions series, it has a book on Hinduism https://academic.oup.com/book/901?searchresult=1
Plus that can be obtained on Amazon as well.
I saw this which looks intriguing, https://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Hinduism-Origins-Beliefs-Practices/dp/184483042X
I have a Kindle book which I haven't read yet called Hinduism, a Comprehensive Guide by Cassie Coleman
I have a Kindle book which I haven't read yet called The Essence of Vedic Philosophy: A Guide for the Spiritually Awakened by TM Priest

I'd go with the second one.

I mean, if it's still in publication after 369 years, it must be good! :D

LOL. This said it was Oxford Press 2004, though I don't know if it is a reprint of something older... I'm thinking maybe 1956 or 1856...
I just ordered a copy, very inexpensive, more for shipping, from the UK! But the other options were charging me more total.

UPDATE - the one called "The Essence of the Vedic Philosophy" was shorter than I thought and not super comprehensive or detailed. I was all right I supposed. But it had a space in the middle where one phrase was repeated over and over. There was no context to make me think it was a mantra, it seemed like an editing issue.

So far I'm liking Hinduism: A Complete Guide - But I just started it.
I also realize I have a Kindle book called A Popular Dictionary of Hinduism by Karel Werner, and it seems so far like it's going to be pretty informative
