Helping to improve the world for all people everywhere.

Yes, I think that continually trying to improve our own character and conduct is a good way to help make the world better for people in our lives and all around us, and maybe can have good ripple effects all around the world.

Misinformation alerts from creators of AI chatbots

    - ChatGPT promised to forget user conversations. A federal court ended that. Note: It was the company, OpenAI, that made the promise, not the chatbot. If anyone can find an example of a court actually requiring a chatbot company to give them private information, I would like to know.

Misinformation alerts from creators of AI chatbots

Where did you see this? Did you mean that chatbot companies are legally obligated to respond? All I could find was a YouTube video speculating about it, with no sources. Subpoenas for Chatbot Conversations www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi8KsModZf8 "Your interactions with chatbots, including the...

Helping to improve the world for all people everywhere.

wil, thanks. That’s the kind of post that I was hoping to see. One of my ideas for people working together to help make the community life in a neighborhood healthier, happier, and more loving for every person, is studying and practicing together to improve their qualities and capacities for...

Misinformation alerts from creators of AI chatbots

OpenAI (ChatGPT) “Despite its capabilities, GPT‑4 has similar limitations as earlier GPT models. Most importantly, it still is not fully reliable (it ‘hallucinates’ facts and makes reasoning errors).” - https://openai.com/index/gpt-4-research/ “It can sometimes make simple reasoning errors …...

Helping to improve the world for all people everywhere.

Helping to improve the world for all people everywhere.

One way I’ve thought of for learning to be a good person to talk to for each person is, for each person, to be learning on my own about something that they’re interested in, and talk with them about what I’m learning. It could be their profession, a hobby, something that they’re learning about...

Helping to improve the world for all people everywhere.

My thoughts are grouped in my mind into two groups: trying to learn to be a safe, easy, fun and helpful person to talk to for all kinds of people in all kinds of circumstances; and trying to help with the growth and spread of a healthier, happier and more loving community life at the level of...

    Non-Christian follower of Jesus

A non-Christian understanding of the Christian Bible

I'm not a Christian, but I grew up in a Christian family, I went through confirmation class in a Christian church, I recognize and accept Jesus as my Lord, and I have an intense interest in what the Christian Bible says about Him and His kingdom. In my understanding of the Christian Bible, part...

Scholarly discussion about changes in biblical texts

"Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse." How many people around the world do you think would remember those words differently? Or, of all the people who memorizesd the Gettysburg address in school, don't you think that most of...

    IS RELIGION actually a philosophy?

I would say that theology is philosophy, but there is more to religion than theology. Religion also includes practices, ways of doing things, especially people doing things together.

    Thoughts about Trinity beliefs

I'm not really sure how useful it can be in our time for spiritual growth, but I think that any usefulness is in the lessons it teaches, not whether anything in the stories actually happened or not, and not in any beliefs wrapped around it. I'm thinking that the kingdom of Jesus is people moved...
