What happens if someone gives up on talking and interacting with humans all together ?

They have less arguments/discussions with others and more with themselves.

They will either become amazingly self reliant and autonomous or have already accumulated enormous wealth to afford whatever lifestyle they have beyond their cave (hint:move to tropical climate where food is abundant year round)

They will have zero need for health insurance.

In my substantial experience (mental health career, and personal challenges), people who do this tend to go a bit odd, and some go a lot odd.

Massimo, it's clear from your other posts that you find ordinary people difficult. You're far from alone! But zero interaction is rarely healthy.

What helped me was finding a few people who do "get" me, but that took me a long time. I actually met some of them on forums like this one. Hope you stick around :)

They develope their own inner world and tirelessly try to build a fortress around it. Personally I think 60% of life should be alone time so that people can develope a clue about how to have relationships with other people. I see a lot of loose, reckless relationships out there that become very costly. Life is fleeting though!

Had a similar question...but maybe more importantly somehow the realm of "normal" seems to have gotten ridiculously small!

It seems most every kid labeled as gifted a decade or two later gets the odd label. Then most everyone dedicated to a sandbox other than your own gets the odd label. The unknown and the celebrities get an automatic shield....until that shield.is dropped and their exposure includes odd.

In definite terms, they would become a recluse.

Some do this to communicate only with themselves and may get lost, some do this to communicate with God, and may find themselves.

Its interesting that all the Prophets/ Messengers of God have partaken of the later (to communicate only with God)for a period of time, from 40 days up to two years, before they openly declared the Message from God.

In the end, we must find our own purpose of being here, being granted life, and life is best shared.

Extreme isolation usually leads to depression and anxiety, and being less able to function socially when the situation arises.

Minimizing contact with bullies, on the other hand, can reduce anxiety, depression, and anger.

Have you ever researched this? Are you looking into asceticism or something? Is this theological or are you just annoyed by people?

What brings this up?

To add to earlier excellent answers, I mean anything from a bit eccentric up to complete detachment from shared reality.

Sounds like I'm scaremongering and I don't mean to. Most people i guess find a balance between engagement where they feel reasonably comfortable.

And as has been mentioned there's a link between periods of isolation and spiritual development.

On average though most people don't thrive when they completely stop comparing notes with others, and the longer it goes on the more difficult it becomes to find a way back.
