I have no problems at all with initiating vivid dreams. The problem I have is not being locked up about their weird content should I reveal them to anyone that isn't covered by marrital confidences I.E. Mrs Tein. - see above.

For me, at waking it's total recall. However, the memories don't last and mostly evapourate soon after, say five minutes. It did used to keep a dream diary to write them down but it can be difficult to remember to do it as they can be quite disorientating.
