Chocolate eggs, hot cross buns and church services. With HZ in complete lockdown the services have been virtual rather than actual, the chocolate and hot cross buns have been excellent.
The form is a place to start. The seminary is online but ordination is done in the old time way, by the laying on of hands. I am the local ordinary for NZ, that is, I am the bishop for NZ. If we were as large as the RCC the local ordinary would be the bishop of the city in which you reside.
I am a Bishop in the Reformed Old Catholic church. I am also a some-time Quaker, former LDS and RLDS, an ex-Baha'i. I have studied world religions since I was in my mid-teens and am 60 this year.
Most Christians seem happy to ignore the Bible if it is inconvenient to them personally or to their interpretations of it. The OT is pretty damn clear about HOW foreigners are to be treated.
Actually the Bible says nothing about the LEGAL status of the foreigners it mentions. BORDERS are a modern invention. As for your comments; Asylum seeking is not illegal nor is crossing your border in order to safe guard themselves (according to the UN convention that the US authored.)
