Can Muslims be friends with Jews and Christians?

Maybe we should all have some tea and biscuits... and love each other regardless of how deep our words... talking about love is like trying to put the ocean into a cup. Maybe the substance you're looking for is the sand... a pearl comes from only one grain of sand.

Some dates (not all!) for the End of the World

Thanks! I think the original meaning in scripture was "end of the age" and not "end of the world." I think this world will still be around for a very long time.... at least five hundred thousand years, likely a few billion years.

    Interfaith as a Faith

"Give me the strength to change what I can; the serenity to accept what I cannot; and the wisdom to know the difference." I like the poems! I've heard this last one... I mean, I've read it before. The last line is the hardest... "the wisdom to know the difference." I think that kind of wisdom...

    Paradise Is Near!

I have no intention to offend anyone, just giving my point of view. I believe the New Jerusalem is the Baha'i Faith.

    Paradise Is Near!

I agree you can say it's here, especially in your heart.... a heart near to God is in Paradise, I believe, no matter what world you're in.

    early christian writings

On an interesting side note.... we wouldn't know about the ancient Greek philosophers if it wasn't for Muslims translating their works into Arabic and preserving them. (I heard this somewhere, can anyone back me up?) What I heard was that the Europeans, after adopting the blessed religion of...

    The opening of the seal

I've read a really good book that I think was called Thy Kingdom Come! I think it was by someone from south-east Asia... the name looked Vietnamese to me. It was about Biblical prophecy, especially the book of Revelation... have you heard of it? I mean Thy Kingdom Come, not the book of Revelation.

Some dates (not all!) for the End of the World

My great great grandpa almost got eaten by a shark... ;) Okay, moving on... I believe 1844 was the end of an age and the beginning of a new era. I believe it was the end of the "Abomination of Desolation" and that the Jews began to return to Palestine that very year, 1844. It is the year of...

All the religions in the world are the feathers of the same bird

You reminded me of something... "The Great Being saith: The Tongue of Wisdom proclaimeth: He that hath Me not is bereft of all things. Turn ye away from all that is on earth and seek none else but Me. I am the Sun of Wisdom and the Ocean of Knowledge. I cheer the faint and revive the dead. I...

    World Religions

...and God is greater than any name :) For Baha'is, the Greatest Name is Allah'u'Abha! (God is Most Glorious!) (or God is All-Glorious!)

    early christian writings

Wow, that's a long list of books! I think I like Origen, although I don't remember exactly why. Maybe because I was once a Unitarian... and technically unitarian as in monotheist... or maybe Origen was a universalist I'm thinking about...

    Paradise Is Near!

Which is exactly what I meant by mountains passing away.. the empires passed away.... the Ottoman, the French, the Austro-Hungarian, the Russian, the British Empires.... they've all passed away... all at once almost.

    Jesus and the Bahai Faith

I started reading something called the Common Catechism (a Protestant and Catholic book) one time, and it said, from what I remember of it, that the concept of Trinity came as a defense because the Jews said there is only one God and the Christians were calling Jesus God. The Christians knew...
