A Christian reading of Mark 3:29

I'm still in parent mode... discussed alot, but worth while discussing as you go on Yes. I recently tend to see the "Father", to whom we pray and listen, and the Holy Spirit, God's Spirit that answers in our own thoughts (and much more in the thoughts God chose to inspire as Messengers and the...

There is no proof of God ...

In your post #18 to which I have replied. Where?

There is no proof of God ...

You have proven that the first statement is false in at least one point. My belief is that God is not "morally perfect", because moral is bound to humans. You can't apply our moral on any other being; higher animals also have moral codes, but they are different from ours. God is not human.

A Christian reading of Mark 3:29

It's a good idea to suppose that the threefold formula is the base of the variance in Th. I'm quite with you in the interpretation except the claim that Jesus (p.b.u.h) is between us and God. Jesus didn't reveal the Father; God revealed and still reveals to mankind directly. Sorry I am late and...

    Universalism

We often neglect that Jesus didn't prophecize the aion to come, but he announced that the aion has come. That's 1990 years ago. Those who are part of it, will not taste death. The demands for that are extremely difficult, but compensated by forgiveness. It's about our present, not only future.

    The One in Different Religions

I don't think that the left hand path and the right hand path has anything to do with political left and right wing.

    Universalism

Mark (Mk), Luke (Lk) and the accounts attributed to Matthew (Mt) and Thomas (Th) drawing from at least three different chains of transmission, thus highly reliable, relate that Jesus (p.b.u.h) said, αἰῶν means age, lifetime, a long period, or eternity. αἰωνίου is the adjective for it; it is...

    Universalism

Yes. It's a concept that has developed by Christian scholars. Imo, it doesn't go well with the Gospel. The belief in One God excludes the concept of "each one his own deity". In the concepts of Christian and Muslim beliefs, God is universal.

    The One in Different Religions

In a nutshell, it's about the philosophical "everything is related" and the feeling, experience of nearness. For further information, there's a whole book on the subject in this thread...

    The One in Different Religions

It's been above all the book of wisdom I had in mind saying, in the later 2nd Temple period (both ancient and contemporary scholars agree that this writing is not by Solomon but from the 1st century BCE or CE. Thanks for the reference.

    Universalism

I don't refer to the entire New Testament but only to Jesus according to the Gospel accounts. He doesn't speak about time after the Last day. Will time still exist? He announced a new aeon to have arrived in preparation for the aeon to come. And that not everyone will be able to enter. Much...

    Universalism

For sure, some people (in this world) need penalty, some because they don't see their limits, some because they have suffered too much to forgive without penalty, some because they don't think about their deeds before, and some because they can't forgive themselves without it. But the best is...

    Universalism

Jesus did not promise that everyone will be saved. He warned that those who are not prepared when death is coming will not enter the final Kingdom of God. This warning is repeated in the Quran (I know you have asked for Christianity). Almost every sin can be forgiven to those who try to do good...

    The One in Different Religions

That book is actually Jewish, but I found several parallels to what is said about wisdom (חָ֭כְמוֹת) in the later 2nd Temple period with the notion of the Kingdom of God. I would also associate it with the Logos (gr) and the Kalam (ar), the "Word" that existed before it was spoken. ... reading...

With my answers I actually intend to invite you to contribute to explain your view of what we theists see linked to God. I know that you are an atheist and that you don't like the Abrahamic religions in particular, so you need not repeat it. Rather, it would be interesting to me, for example...

You often express your disappointment on religion. What have you tried in vain? What religious (in the widest sense) things have you found to be valuable and still practice?
