    Ignoring Vaccines

Come on now .. I feel sure that the amount of people saved from vaccines highly outweighs the number of deaths DUE to allergies to it. Nevertheless, I still believe that people should have the option of refusing it.. It's down to our conscience, and weighing up the pros and cons. and depends on...

Am I the Only Person on Earth Who Believes Genesis 2:17?

Indeed.. I find too many people read "you will surely die", and assume a literal reading, without taking account of ALL verses in Scripture. eg. JW's claim only 144,000 people will go to heaven, and everybody else will "surely die". o_O Everyone to their own, I guess .. but Jesus did not teach...

    Ignoring Vaccines

I thought that that was what you were referring to, but wasn't sure.. Most of my children were not immunized, as I wasn't in favour when I was younger. My wife was a bit concerned, but went along with it. I'm not sure how I feel about it these days, as a Grandad. ..but I don't get involved ...

GODS: The Fabrication of a Theistic Mind

Is he not Amir Alzzalam's "double" ? :)

What is it like where you live?

Yes, Glastonbury UK is a 'spiritual magnet' for all kinds of beliefs. I know the Druids like it, just as they like Stonehenge. 😁

What "outbreak" are you both referring to?

History of Philosophy | 18 Middle and Neo-Platonism

Indeed so .. it's not logical to conclude otherwise.

What is it like where you live?

I live in Worcestershire UK .. it's about 85% white, including English, Irish and Polish mainly. ..followed by about 10% Asian, including Pakistani & Bengali. It's a pleasant, hilly county, but not a wealthy one. :)

History of Philosophy | 18 Middle and Neo-Platonism

I doubt whether G-d expects us to know that, when it comes to judgement day. :)

    Broaching the Trinity: Three Persons?

Well, time is relative .. a year to G-d is not as a year to us 'as living it'. Furthermore, it would only be an assumption, that time would 'tick' in a linear fashion from beginning to end.

Unification of all religions: The four heavenly items Chapter one (The basics)

That implies that the behaviour of a pious person is no different than that of a disbeliever. I don't think that that is true, generally speaking. We all have moral values .. well, most of us.. ..but they are not likely to be the same. Naturally, it depends what one means by pious .. I mean...

    Ignoring Vaccines

No .. it isn't. However, we also do not have an automatic right to medical treatment. We are all at the hand's of G-d's mercy. He who is thankful will receive more (mercy).

    Fallen Angels, reprised

Well, that all depends on the nature of a soul .. G-d is eternal, and non-physical. (as physical is the creation) Our souls are non-physical, and belong to G-d. Can G-d die? Obviously not. Can our souls die, if they belong to G-d? I would say that they do not .. and Scripture backs my argument...

Unification of all religions: The four heavenly items Chapter one (The basics)

I don't see what that has to do with religious truths. Perhaps you are calling people out for their hypocrisy, rather than their beliefs. You do not need to be an Orthodox Christian to appreciate spirituality. Some souls grow (in awareness) and some don't. You seem to be denying Tony's...

How did a Hindu became an atheist.

G-d is not a physical being. Physical beings belong to the creation of G-d. G-d is not "a god" with form, as in Ganesha. G-d is existence itself, but not physical existence .. imagine a non-physical universal network. ..perhaps you can't, because you are a stubborn physicalist. 😐

History of Philosophy | 18 Middle and Neo-Platonism

I realise that that is what you believe.. ..but it can't be proved. It's interesting that you think we can know more about Origen now, than they all did back in the day. 😐 No, not accused of heresy due to confusion .. a political mess, yes!

How did a Hindu became an atheist.

It can .. but that would contradict the fact that G-d is not part of the Creation. It makes no sense that He would be. i.e. He is eternal They exist .. but are not physical concepts .. they are spiritual ones.

How did a Hindu became an atheist.

As opposed to "In the beginning, the heavens and earth just happened to be". :)

How did a Hindu became an atheist.

I wouldn't say so.. Why does G-d have to have a location? Some people say that G-d is everywhere .. others say not .. I say that G-d created the universe and is not part of it. That would suggest that G-d is "somewhere" that we are not aware of at present. ..and as I say .. "G-d is closer to...
