I wasn't arguing whether or not tradition is received. I was simply pointing out an error, a basic error, in the first sentence in the Guenon material you posted.

I've not had the time to sit down and read through this passage, however it has gotten off to a rocky start from my perspective. The word קבלה does not mean tradition. It means simply something that is received. Certainly it can refer to a tradition, but it is not limited to that.

Interesting, almost 2 years since I advised that the above is an incorrect translation for Psalm 46 and it gets quoted again.

I simply wondered if your increased respect for @wil was based solely on the positions espoused in the piece or whether it was based, at least in part, on the writing which you, or someone else, might have thought was from him...

Are you basing that on the fact that @wil submitted the post you responded to or are you basing that on an assumption that he wrote the text of the post?
