    Public Evangelization

This is the kind of evangelization that I think is most effective, imo. I'd love to see more of this kind of work in my city, because we desperately need it. Much respect for your work!

    Public Evangelization

Wow, that's absolutely fascinating! I feel like you don't see as many groups like that anymore. There's still a lot of woo-woo stuff, but I don't know if esotericism is the massive movement it used to be in the west. Definitely. Crystals are still super popular but yeah, its become very...

    Public Evangelization

Same here. I understand its from a compassionate motivation, even if it can be unpleasant for me. It actually is hard to put yourself out there and be willing to share your beliefs with another person, so I also admire missionaries and evangelists. That's another interesting practice. I wonder...

    Absolute Truth

Definitely. I think when it comes to interfaith dialogue its not super helpful to be constantly throwing your beliefs in other people's faces as a way to 'prove them wrong'. When I approach other people's beliefs, I genuinely want to learn about them. However, in my personal spiritual journey, I...

    Public Evangelization

I'll have to check that out! There are definitely good street preachers out there.

    Public Evangelization

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I definitely don't mind people trying to evangelize me. I think for me, I just wonder about what is most effective. I think the best evangelization efforts I've seen have taken place online, especially on YouTube. There are so many good Christian channels out...

    Public Evangelization

When I was in college, I was approached randomly by a girl who asked me a few confusing questions. I remember one of them was about who I thought "the lamb" was in the Bible. She then told me about who she called "God the Mother", and asked for my number so she could invite me to her Bible...

    Absolute Truth

Yes, this is exactly how I see absolute truth. Even if humans disappeared from the earth and there was no one around to have human experiences or knowledge, absolute truth would still remain. It would still be true that earth exists in the milky way galaxy, along with our sun and our moon and...

What are your thoughts on it? :) the Enlightenment is fascinating. I think it and the Reformation have changed Western society more than anything since the spread of Christianity.

The Mystery of God’s Will Unfolding in this Matrix 2

I can accept a cyclical view of religion, I know there are other religions that also view history this way. But we actually do have records of our ancestors millions of years ago. Hominids, through the remains we’ve found of them. We can’t know when they started to practice religion definitively.

The Mystery of God’s Will Unfolding in this Matrix 2

I know, that’s what I was saying. ‘Anointed one’ is the Greek title that is a translation of the Hebrew word for messiah. Fair enough, that answers my question. Just want to point out that to Christians Jesus is God. So, to them, it’s not a case of only knowing God through a Messenger. Jesus...

The Mystery of God’s Will Unfolding in this Matrix 2

I'm confused by what you mean when you use the term Christ, because outside of its theological implications in Christianity, its just a Greek translation of the Hebrew word for messiah (if I'm not incorrect). How do Baha'i understand messiahship? Are the Messengers considered messiahs? Or are...

The Mystery of God’s Will Unfolding in this Matrix 2

But conceptions of God and of deities in general are much older than any of the Manifestations.

    Absolute Truth

Yeah, exactly, and I think that's the difference between absolute truth and just what people believe. Truth is truth. I mean, people have believed a myriad of things over the history of humanity lol. Cultural concepts are not absolute truths.

    Any anti vax/mask/virus hoaxers here?

I never said woke...I'm confused about what you're getting at here.

Finish the sentence: "I love it when...."

What does Anna Nicole Smith or Natalie Holloway have to do with that though?

    Any anti vax/mask/virus hoaxers here?

I didn't assume. I went right to their "About Us" section. This is their vice president: "Laura Bono has a journalism and marketing background. Since her son regressed after his vaccinations in the early 1990’s, and was subsequently diagnosed with heavy-metal toxicity and autism, Laura has...

Finish the sentence: "I love it when...."

I think he means he prayed for God to kill people/curse them somehow  I really hope I'm misreading him.

    Any anti vax/mask/virus hoaxers here?

I've heard all about the heart issues apparently stemming from vaccines. I'm open to critiques of the vaccines, but yeah I'm not going to accept an article that relies on evidence from an organization that promotes the autism vaccine myth. It's like referencing David Irving on an article about...
