    Any anti vax/mask/virus hoaxers here?

I got three shots. I also got COVID, which for me was like a typical bad flu. I'm not worried about the shots at all, but the lockdowns where I lived were AWFUL. They made you feel guilty for taking a step outside your house lol.

    What are you currently reading?

I think spiritual reading can be a uniquely peaceful experience :) the NT used to give me anxiety for some reason, but I love reading the OT.

    What are you currently reading?

It's a nonfiction book about the history of horror! And no, but I've heard of it! I used to be really into fantasy and sci fi, I need to get back into it. My favourite genre is definitely horror though. How are you enjoying The Witcher?

    Absolute Truth

I don't currently believe in any scriptures. I do keep praying. I guess I'll just have to wait for God to show me the truth. God allowed me to experience my worst scrupulosity right before I was about to officially join the Church. I didn't understand at the time, but now I believe that was...

I want God's truth, though, not my own.

    Absolute Truth

I completely agree! Yes, I think people have this idea of 'evil' that is so cartoonish. I don't think anyone is 'evil' in the way most people understand the word. People don't just wake up and decide 'okay, I'm going to be a horrible person'. That's another reason why I don't believe in hell...

Thank you ❤️ it's definitely a struggle. I feel like I've investigated every religion (monotheistic religion, that is) around, and I still haven't found the truth.

    What are you currently reading?

I'm reading Horror: A Very Short Introduction and Over the Garden Wall: Soulful Symphonies. I'm starting to get into the autumn/spooky season mood, so I'm going to be starting on my Halloween reading list soon. How about y'all?

    Absolute Truth

I want to add that I'm just adding my perspective as an ex-Christian, in the spirit of interfaith dialogue. I understand the reasons Christians believe in sin. I won't tell Christians how to see their own faith, just sharing my perspective as someone who left it.

    Absolute Truth

I respect and understand what you're saying as a formerly very devout Christian. But for me, the moment I think I truly stopped cowering at God's feet was, after leaving the Church, realizing I had no sin. Not that I had never done anything wrong (of course I have), but that I was fundamentally...

What type of music is in the bible, difference the music and know what God said is he's music and from the world's music ?

I understand their intentions are good but I hated when my church played cringy guitar 'worship' music during mass lol. The lyrics were always just something like "JESUS I LOVE YOUU" over and over

    Absolute Truth

Many people consider natural disasters to be part of the famous "problem of evil" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Problem_of_evil), not just human evil.

    Absolute Truth

I think its something most Christians struggle with at some point in their faith walk. Some people are able to work through it, some people can't. For me, I had to be honest with myself and acknowledge I couldn't force myself to try to accept it anymore.

    Absolute Truth

I see a lot of people doing terrible things to other people. I also see a lot of awful things happening without direct human agency, like natural disasters. I don't need to believe in Satan to see that.

    Absolute Truth

Yes. No, I don't think so. I don't think anyone deserves hell. I haven't lost my faith in God? I love God. I don't believe in Satan personally.

    Absolute Truth

I've heard these arguments before. The free will defense is not suitable to justify hell. I don't like the modern, wishy washy idea of "oh, God doesn't send people to hell, they choose hell". Nope. No one would choose hell. No action deserves eternal punishment. I find older sources from the...

Orthodox literally just means "conforming to what is generally or traditionally accepted as right or true; established and approved" via Oxford dictionary.

    Absolute Truth

Of course there is. That Bah'ull'ah is from God is an orthodox Baha'i doctrine. Also, covenant breakers as a concept would not exist unless there were doctrines that Baha'i must follow.

    Absolute Truth

If you believe in hell as eternal torture, eternal punishment, then that's the hell I'm talking about and that's the hell I find morally reprehensible as a concept. I'm talking about hell as a punishment from God. A place after death where we are with God. God is good, so the afterlife must...
