    What is your age?

I think it's best to assume kids will read what we write, and by kids I mean teenagers. Also, people from many, many different backgrounds are in this forum, many countries and religions :)

Possible Vedic (or other Eastern) imagery in the Book of Job?

I believe that God only creates good and that anything evil is from human beings. "Every good thing is of God, and every evil thing is from yourselves." -Baha'u'llah

Unlock a mighty portal unto His City

Pilgrim's notes aren't official... they're things that pilgrims hear and write down from what they've heard... they only become official if Shoghi Effendi says it's official, and Shoghi Effendi's not with us in mortality anymore, so I'll go ahead and say the unofficial pilgrims note I heard has...

Why are we listed under "Modern Religions" (not "Abrahamic" religions) in this forum?

Re: Why are we listed under "Modern Religions" (not "Abrahamic" religions) in this fo Will the new site show the relationship the Baha'i Faith has with Judaism, Christianity, and Islam? We believe Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. There's no doubt we're Abrahamic :)

    Solution for Humanity!!!

I do love Islam (and Christianity (and Judaism)) and... and... :) Baha'is believe Jesus is the Messiah, just as it says in the Qur'an. It's often translated with a lower-case "m," but Arabic doesn't have upper and lower-case. Solution for humanity? Love Muslims and Jews! Love Christians...

    Baha'i hell, Christian hell

Baha'is often say heaven is nearness to God and hell is remoteness from God. Another way of saying that is heaven is the love of God and hell is the opposite. Angels love God, and are thus in Paradise, no matter where they are, because God is Omnipresent. "Consider, moreover, how frequently...

    Trinity

Since this is a comparative religion forum, I thought I might add a Baha'i perspective on Trinity: Bahá'í Reference Library - Some Answered Questions, Pages 113-115# I hope the link works... in my own words, God is compared metaphorically to the Sun (even though God is infinitely greater...

    Baha'i hell, Christian hell

I love the topic of the afterlife and have read a lot about near death experiences. I personally like to say there are seven heavens... although there are as many unique spiritual levels as there are people, I believe. People with similar "vibes" will be together, I believe. "They that are of...
