Very interesting. That's the same reason why in my religion we believe in the eternal renewal of the Messengers and their teachings. The older ones after some centuries get "muddied" (in my own language) and lose its effect. So it needs to be renewed.

I personally think when we refer to the essence of truth as white light, it is for the sake of using a "language" to refer to that essence. Yet, we know that that Essence is beyond any words or names or attributes; it's beyond any white lights. I'd call it "colorlessness".
