Do we (Muslims, Christians and Jews) believe in the same God or not?

We all are slight variations of each other, true. But, these slight variations make our Gods different (i.e. Christians have a God that came to eath) because Jesus is God. So, we don't have the same God, just variations of the same God, which come from what I pointed out in my earlier post.

    You are wrong: what now?

If there was just "universal acceptance" I would probably hold my beliefs, but if there was some solid fact that proved my beliefs wrong, then I might change. Of course, when everyone accepts something universally and you don't, you tend to get persecuted. I don't really know what I'd do to...

Do we (Muslims, Christians and Jews) believe in the same God or not?

I belive that we all worship the same God. But, the problem between our religions all lie with the prohets and Jesus (I set him apart because we, Christians, belive Him to be Son of God). In my mind, it all boils down to human error, just like everything wrong. Someone took the facts one way...

    Thoughts on the Passion

The resurrection is a big part, but the death is the sacrifice that saved us from our sins. And, without death, there can't be a ressurection. Think of the resurrection to kind of the sequel to the death, proving that he is God.

    Thoughts on the Passion

I think that though the gospels don't speak of the things that happened to Jesus specifically, they still could have happened. And, I thought the devil was a guy, s/he sounded like one.

    Daily Wisdom Saying

Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day, set a man on fire and he'll be warm fro the rest of his life.

    Doctors, Priests Form Exorcism Commission

If you believe in the Bible, then you have to think possesion occurs. But, whether it is invited or not I'm not so sure about. And, I think about it this way, if the patient will take there time and money to get "exorcized" and it will help them overcome there problem, let them do it. I think...

    Spiritual fascism

We all judge everyone and sin all the time. I know you all do to, thinking to yourself "How can he/she do that?", it is almost impossible. Also, Susma, I agree with JJM in not understanding how you "plan" sin, most the time I sin, I'm not aware until well after. I have a couple of questions...

    Alternate Realities/Alternate Universes

JJM, did you hear that on Southpark? Because I sure did.

    Alternate Realities/Alternate Universes

I got your riddle solved (the new one anyway). The first finger is #1, so that is why you are one number off. When counting backwards, you will end up with 1, because the first finger is one, so you really have to count down from 9. P.S. JJM, I think that speed would be a variable in time...

    Alternate Realities/Alternate Universes

I think that we can't know if it's possible to know everything, because that's one of the things we have left to learn. And, there is a high probability that there is an end to everything, we just can't comprehend it yet. I miswrote what I meant, I meant that we know everything that our minds...

    Alternate Realities/Alternate Universes

I'm guessing you are referring to how the generation of people would "brain up". Well, think about it this way, we teach our kids everything the world already knows (or we try to). This means, that unless their generation learns nothing, then they learn something new, which is passed to their...

    Alternate Realities/Alternate Universes

This question will be my demise. If everything exists, then in essence nothing exists. I think that when God destroyed the Tower of Babylon, he destroyed the use of most of our brains, thus not allowing us to realize or contemplate things that God himself can. This being said, Quahom1 also...
