a figment of your imagination
Then he said, "I tell you with certainty, unless you change and become like little children, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven.
So at church today I was to work with middle school and high school kids. I had a guest speaker lined up, a former student, one who graduated from high school 5 years ago, and now in going for her masters.

Then I was told there was no one for the little ones pre-schoolers. So we were going to have a couple of teens watch them, but it didn't seem right that they were going to miss out. So I asked our guest speaker if she'd be ready for a stretch and talk to the teens in the preschool room.

So we set up chairs in a circle, and while she related to the circle of teens her life since 'sunday school' and how she used spiritual principles and her connection with G!d in her life in the past five years...the little ones ran in circles, played, fussed, and played and ran some more. The teens were occasionally distracted but most often focused on the story that was being told. The little ones were mostly playing but occasionally came up to have one of us solve some dispute or to sit on a lap for a moment and listen.

It was a joy, it went swimmingly, the little ones had a great time, they cleaned up all their toys when told and then we held hands in a circle. One of the little ones said, "Why did you have a meeting in our room?" Another said "Thank you for letting us play during your meeting" and another, "Can you have your meeting in here again?" And another asked, "Why do we have to hold hands?" A flurry of questions all at once.

Now the closing prayer circle with the teens is usually interesting, one always volunteering another to do it, some always willing to step up if no one else does. And me thinking our guest would probably like to close us out but I asked anyway, "So who wants to pray us out?" One of the preschoolers jumps at the chance and says. "I'd like to pray for us!" And he did, and it was a wonderful closing prayer. And what came to mind was:
Then he said, "I tell you with certainty, unless you change and become like little children, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven.
and
"Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

It's interesting that when a man/woman experiences pure joy (as one would experience in paradise) their state immediately changes to one of pure child-like behavior. No matter what age they may be in terms of years, but it seems that joy/happiness has a way of exposing the basic child in everyone.

"Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

... makes sense :)

Jesus loved children. If He had not been rejected and crucified, God had great hope that Jesus could have his own sinless family. On the cross Jesus lost much more than his body. He lost his family and God' seed. We are still born with the original sin today.
Jesus could have established the first sinless family and all mankind could have been grafted to it over time. It would have a been a blood lineage that God could claim His own, without connection to Satan.

Jesus realy love children

Where do you get all that?

at least with this kind of posting, people can really see how far the divide has become between theological literature and the preachings of religious interpretations.

none of what this guy posted is anywhere in any theology

and just to help you out soiled1, evil is found is what people do and you be conveying lies bound to a corrupted teachers (a living satan/human being)

anyone can see, that we as a species are each capable of creating fibs and then this example shares how within a belief system them fibs can live and continue, ruining the minds of our children like a drug

this is exactly why this I has such an animosity towards even a single line of deception when within the context of faith.

people's heart and soul are bound to these types of items because someone suggested it is from God and the very soul of the person will be damned to hell by satan if they don't follow it

these are the very children you and i are all responsible to/for (our future)

we must care for the truth over beliefs no matter what and if that means sacraficing ourselves and what anyone thinks of us, or cares of us, that is the duty we owe to God, for even being alive!

Where do you get all that?

It makes so much sense to me since Jesus was the second Adam.

Why would God prepare mankind for 4000 biblical years to receive a Messiah, just to have him killed ? (That is a very long time)

I think that Jesus is very much misunderstood.

He proclaimed the Kingdom was at hand, right now, then at one point he changed direction and prepare for the cross. Something went really wrong.

He cried over Jerusalem that rejected him.

He could already forgive sins when he was alive.

I am not trying to offend anyone. This is what I believe

second?

Adam and Eve are metaphorical figures of a story. The first born are atom and energy (light). Have you not read of the 'second creation'?

Why would God prepare mankind for 4000 biblical years to receive a Messiah, just to have him killed ? (That is a very long time)
Wasn't God who made the claims, they are man's claims of the period, the messiah and whether He was truly killed or not. Seems after 3 hours, he could have passed out, as in them days many people were buried alive.

Then after three days of rest, walked out. Have you ever been in a real fight? Takes a few days to get out of bed doesn't it?

I think that Jesus is very much misunderstood.
looks like the first real good sentence you put together

He proclaimed the Kingdom was at hand, right now, then at one point he changed direction and prepare for the cross. Something went really wrong.
others claimed he claimed the claim of being god (nicene)

what did he say 'thou sayest i am'

He cried over Jerusalem that rejected him.
perhaps

He could already forgive sins when he was alive.
just like any other person

I am not trying to offend anyone. This is what I believe

you've been offending yourself by sharing how little homework you do before going to work (do you wear a helmit when you walk?)

if you were asking questions and articulating, then no one would have a clue how badly you have been damaged

but instead you on an open forum going so deep with really shallow comprehension.... i have been crying for you, since the first post

it is sad to see

and not trying to harm you either.......... :(

Is it? When he lived in an area where men would typically marry in their teens, why would he not have married? Especially if you say it was G!d's intention for him to live and father children, children unblemished by satan.

I don't see original sin, especially when we know the literal garden didn't exist, that it was a metaphor, so our literal apple and literal original sin didn't exist.

So the children Jesus referred to, and the child in my sunday school class, jumped up to pray, ready to put on the mind of Jesus, no satan involved...

second? Adam and Eve are metaphorical figures of a story.

1Corinthians 15:21-22 speaks of the second Adam, the other man

What kind of statment is that ?

others claimed he claimed the claim of being god (nicene)

I know there is a debate about Jesus being God and Jesus being a man with a divine nature going back to the first century. My personal belief is that Jesus is a man who has reached the level of individual perfection spiritually and who has a divine nature. He was one with God

It makes sense to me that he cried over Jerusalem. We know what happened to the city latter on.

I would never dare to speak to anyone with such a tone especially in a place called interfaith forum, in the Xstianity section.

I am quite socked

I believe that his parents did not understand his mission. God had prepared a bride for him. It was their duty to help him with that. In addition so many things went wrong.

Even John the Baptist was not sure (depsite the fact that he received a direct revelation) if Jesus was the Messiah. He sent his disciples to ask him. "Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another".(mt11:3). John also denied that he had the mission of Elijah (Jn 1:21).

With the reputation John had, he should have joined with Jesus instead of going his own way. He should have been his first disciple. Jesus was just known as the son of a carpenter.

The only person that acknowledged who Jesus was on the cross was the thief on his right. Even Jesus first disciple run away. What a sad story.

I see the original sin pretty clearly in me, around me and in the world. It is kind of Hell on earth.

Because I believe the fall happened when A&E were around 16 years old, it is not affecting children as much.(my own understanding)

second creation

another adam, you mean like there is another juan garcia?

some stuff you like, some stuff you don't..... still trying to find some consistancy.

makes sense, especially when that frame at least removes 'perfection' 'divinity' or omnipotent from the equations (maybe not your belief but reality)

It makes sense to me that he cried over Jerusalem. We know what happened to the city latter on.
aint seen anything yet

I would never dare to speak to anyone with such a tone especially in a place called interfaith forum, in the Xstianity section.

that is what lying is to me, a complete shock .

it is sickening that a human being actually think they have a right to fib and misrepresent, caring nothing for what damage can happen (creating someone like you)

about that helmit, ... do you wear one when you walk?

get the point, if you have no issue insulting me, the world, God... with fibs then i have no problem with asking you what color helmit you are wearing today.

I believe that his parents did not understand his mission. God had prepared a bride for him. It was their duty to help him with that. In addition so many things went wrong.
wow!

'the fact'..... ?

With the reputation John had, he should have joined with Jesus instead of going his own way. He should have been his first disciple. Jesus was just known as the son of a carpenter.
HE should have?

The only person that acknowledged who Jesus was on the cross was the thief on his right. Even Jesus first disciple run away. What a sad story.
what about the women at his feet? are they nobodies?

I see the original sin pretty clearly in me, around me and in the world. It is kind of Hell on earth.
i have no doubt you experiencing HELL..

Because I believe the fall happened when A&E were around 16 years old, it is not affecting children as much.(my own understanding)
WOW!

A&E's age are now being told?

Met a bunch of people on the internet i have to say, you be one of the first i truly have pity for:
