Water from Black Holes

I read that one too. Wish I was up to speed on the maths involved, and perhaps some day I will be. Looks like H2O is selected to escape because of its mass, just enough and not too much.

Ironic, since light has no mass, and it can't even escape...

Are they sure they're not describing a "white hole"? You know, the other side of the all consuming singularity?
