The Bab handing out white stones

Say does anyone know about the Bab handing out white stones or such to people?

Read about in Bill Sears, Thief in the Night, p. 33:

A new name is once again promised for the
followers of Christ in the day of His return:

'To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna
and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name
written, which no man knoweth save he that receiveth it.'

So it sounds like the ring stone symbol we wear with the Greatest Name on it.

I don't know about Bahai tradition, but at my church we do a white stone ceremony at Easter Sunrise service every year.

We think of the "white stones" more as a prophecy that we feel was fulfilled.. but around the Shrine of Baha'u'llah which is at Bahji near Akko the walkways are full of round white stones which are from the Sea of Galilee.

Thanks all. I am sure other groups put their symbols on gem stones as well. I heard from a Kurdish Baha'i that the Bab used to hand out white stones. I had a dream about a rock and "coincidently" saw it later that day of the dream and then was given one by the owner. The rock is a jasper conglomerate. Jasper apparently represents the oneness of mankind according to AbdulBaha.
