I've always been casually interested in Lutheran mystics and Bohme is the leader if the pack, but I can't find any source that offers a clear explanation of his views. I'm just looking for an overview. Even the Wikipedia entry on him confuses me.

Namaste Obadiah,

I love it, 'casually interested in Lutheran mystics' that is just darn interesting. I've got nothing to assist you with but your question did lead me to some enjoyable casual interest. And the realization that I have real issues with the five solas, thank you.

Hello again,
I'm new here and just learning to use the internet. Jacob Bohme is indeed the most amazing of the Lutheran mystics. He like Swedenborg both see Christianity as being first from God , then a world of his thoughts or ideas, and then the real physical world as we know it. They say that this world is just a copy of the thought world, which is a type of copy of God's thoughts. Jacob is hard to understand unless your are already gifted and understanding in these things. You can also begin this descovery by reading chapter 22 called Consciusness difined by numbers in .secondbookofdaniel Lutherans are today the lost tribe of Israel in Europe call "the Tribe of Benjamin." (see chap. 10) dan b (add three w at beginning and com at the end)
