*the :kitty:s bring in wagons loaded with as many fried foods as can be loaded from latkes to doughnuts (both filled and non-filled), one :kitty: guiding poh to the pineapple-filled doughnuts and fried bananas. After delivering their goodies, they begin mingling, watching the menorahs being lit, only leaving to get more goodies to nosh*

How many wagons of fried foods, and what are they filled with, Phyllis ?? I am hungry, woof, woof (any kitties in the wagons :D) :D !!

Latkes, spring rolls, vegetarian egg rolls, Navajo fry bread, beer-battered fish and chips, deep-fried pierogies, deep-fried candy bars, deep-fried pies, deep-fried pasta, doughnuts (both filled and unfilled), falafel balls, deep-fried pizza bites, fried bananas, fried ice cream, fried cheesecake bites, . . .

I can't list any more right now.

I was in the hospital at this time (am I'm perfectly well now) .... so belated Happy Hannukah .... I'm going for the beer-battered fish, falafel balls, fried ice cream and poi.....aloha nui, poh

*poh finds a couple of pineapple-filled doughnuts on her dessert plate beside the balls of fried ice cream. One of the :kitty:s just looks at her with a typical :kitty: look, then winks conspiratorially*

We (the :kitty: delegation and I) are ecstatic that you're back and doing okay, especially Keikilani.

Is that "Ladino" (Judeo-Spanish)? I guess-translate "Hannukah pretty(?) be here... eight candles for me! many festivities for having(?), with cheer and pleasure."

The :kitty:s are back with their wagons, so COME AND GET IT. ;)

Oh, Hannukah's almost over, but there's still tonight and tomorrow night.

Its 8 crazy nites. Funny thing is its the cubic number 888 witch is the number of resurrection. didn't jesus fulfill that?

No Donan....According to Jews Jesus is not the Messiah .... for many reasons....one of which is that he would not have needed to come back twice....the other his their messiah would not have such obnoxious followers.

Funny thing is that the name Jesus is actually the English translation for the cubic number 888 which is the number of resurrection of the body and union with soul and spriit which is the jewish prophecy of the messiah. The jews do not believe that Jesus was the messiah because they are still all in mortal condtion. However Christians believe in the second coming and him being the savior. His followers are NOT obnoxious but believe in love and kindness. I believe JESUS is really Michael the arch angel and its directly connected to Daniel 12.

Another reason we (those of us who aren't "Messianic Jews") don't believe Jesus was the Messiah is that, according to "the rules", the True Moshiach won't alter the laws of Judaism. The Cult of Jesus (which became Christianity) altered so many of the laws that observant Jews don't recognize him as a savior.

I could be wrong about this, but our resident Jewish curmudgeon (bananabrain) could correct any/all mistakes I make concerning this.

She says, jumping into a Jewish conversation to promote a different religion and proclaim these people as in error!!
I am not promoting a different religion. I am simply saying most Christians are nice people . I worked in a jewish deli some years back and feel the same way about jewish people.

The :kitty: delegation return with their wagons filled with fried food ranging from deep fried cheese ravioli to apple cider doughnuts. Please come and get the treats before the :kitty:s steal the cheese items (and a bite or two of the doughnuts...)

(I wanted to post this before the end of the holiday. I posted this message earlier with a really beautiful graphic, but that post is in the ether awaiting moderator approval.)
