Hanifism

I hate admitting to my own ignorance, it weakens my appearance when I have to argue, but I can't find squat on the history of Hanifism. There probably simply isn't that much information. I know the four characters in the tradition of Islam -Waraqa Naufal, Ubaydullah Jahsh, Uthman Huwayrith, and Zayd Amr - and their role and the assumed contribution of poetry to the Koran, but my knowledge ends there. Is that all there is?
