I've lost the thread which got me interested in this forum which asked if there was any similarity between persian and hebrew.
I'd like to add the similarities between the seder and the nowruz celebration ...plus the hebrew months and the ancient persian ... the first thing to eat in both cases is a boiled egg which is served with salt water in the jewish version. If anyone can direct me to that thread I'd be grateful - otherwise anyone else with any thoughts on this?
I also think I saw something on the web of a spring festival of unleavened bread somewhere ... any info on this too gratefully received ...
