Ancient Mayan Astronomer's Workshop Discovered

Does anyone else appreciate the irony of a calendar almost as accurate as the atomic clock written on the walls of a stone building?

I followed a string of articles from your link that brought me to the science daily web site....
descriptions of entire cities, unexplored, lying in the jungle waitingfor the intrepid explorer almost had me applying for a visa..... :)
drives me nuts to think of so much unexplored.....
