First of all, let me say that Hooterville, as I use it, is a nickname I use for the rural area I live in, and it is derived from the mascot of the local high school. I use it affectoinately. The area has grown up a lot since I moved here in 1982. I believe Jesus Christ to be both fully man and fully God. He alone is my Lord, my Savior, and my King. Rather than calling my self a Christian, I prefer the term Christ-follower. I am not here to proselytize, but to share thoughts and ideas, and what I believe Christianity is about.
