In this YouTube clip >Link< Noam Chomsky & Michel Foucault discuss human nature as its title describes, but it quickly goes into discuss 'science' and how it functions because it's practices by humans.
This I touched on in my other topic on Faith and Science >Link<, but only lightly. They discuss it from the perspective of limitations of language and how language govern how we think, Chomsky being a linguist. I have, a while back, also argued that words and language are very limiting and that we must often try and see beyond strict definitions. This I don't know if either participant would condone, but I extrapolate.
I have read neither of them but have come to similar conclusions from some other source, that perhaps originated in them, even though these two go much, much deeper into the subjects.
I haven't really felt that I can make myself understood lately so perhaps I shall share my views through greater minds. If you feel prone to either philosopher or haven't heard of them I recommend taking a peek.
