The process of Baha'i marriage is fairly easy.. The prospective couple contact a nearby Local Spiritual Assembly.. announcing their intention to be married.. The living parents give their consent to the marriage.. The couple need not be Baha'i. Two witnesses are assigned to observe the vows of the marriage. The vow is a simple statement:

"We will all verily abide by the will of God."

by the "groom" and "bride"...that's the Baha'i ceremony.

The couple can add what ever..additional prayers.. music ..various settings.

Baha'i marriages are generally recognized by the state..except of course in countries where the Faith is considered illegal.
