Religious Ritual

[Namaste Jesus]

For the past several years rain or shine I've begun my day by lighting incense and a candle in our Temple and reciting the Lord's Payer. Does anyone else have something they do on a regular basis to affirm their faith?

Say my prayers and read the good book when the spirit moves me, but that's about it. Wife's the candle lighter.

Mine isn't ritual...it is opportunistic... When I see a car wreck, or a homeless person, or news story, or a parent at wiys end with child issues... Whatever the incident...I take a moment aside... Whether I act on it physically or verbally... I put in A moment within..

In Islam we have pretty much the "regular rituals" covered, between the required Salaat (Daily Prayer) and the suggested extra Salaat and Duas (prayers of the shorter type like "all praise and thanks to Allah") for every situation imaginable.
