Jesus says "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear."
Muhammad promises the return of Isa, called Ruh Allah or Spirit of God.

What if Rumi is that return?

Especially through John, Christ is the embodiment of Love.
Who has climbed higher in Love than the author of the Mathnavi?

Of course, we do not actually have his name. Rumi just means "the Roman", because he lived in the newly conquered Byzantine land.

The Sufis call him Mevlana, our Master.

This is the true distinction between Islam and Sufism.

Mevlevi says his Mathnavi is the explainer of the Quran... he says "say it in Persian, even if the Arabic be better" as a hint that this text should take precedence.

For me, if the whole world read Rumi, this would be a more beautiful place.

Alas, man would rather remain in the valley disputing trivia than climb to the peak.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase "each other" doesn't make any sense.
