Does anyone know anyone who practices a religion that is seen as "fictional" by the general populace?

Like the jedi religion, as an example. I myself may start praying to a god of money, the "exchequer".

:)

I don't know of any here...but am aware of pastafarian friends...(does it.count if you believe your belief to be a farse?)

I knew someone in college who claimed to be an adherent of the Klingon religion. Not sure what she's doing now though.

You say "fictional" which denotes that it's fictional status is contested? If so, people are honestly worshiping entities that were originally made up with the honesty of a true devote? The fictional is a symbol for something that is real? How close am I?

Hopefully fighting for the honor of her clan!
