A "heads up" for pretty much anyone

Found out that there was a confirmed case of the new coronavirus in Madison (there was a confirmed case somewhere in Illinois plus several in other states.) I don't have to tell anybody about the cases outside the US since most other countries will probably have information about where it's shown up.)

What hurts just as much is that some of the furred companions have tested positive for the virus, albeit lower levels of it, plus the tests aren't necessarily accurate. :(

Just found out from the chancellor's office via school's e-mail that there's a possible covid-19 case (no, not me. *knock wood*)

I'm going to be extra careful due to all of the "at-risk" neighbors as well as the fact that I have underlying medical conditions myself. I'll keep everyone up-to-date as much as possible.

Stay well.

I'm doing my best to do so, avoiding people as much as possible. Heck, I'm going to pick up a case of tinned :kitty: food that's on sale here as well as a bag of crunchies for the :kitty: delegation here, perhaps a new toy for them as well. I might also get some shampoo and/or conditioner as well. *shrug*

Thank you for your concern, Steve.

Unfortunately, there might be others on I/O who also take Metformin, and they also face the possibility of cancer in their future due to the medication. :(

Found out yesterday that my diabetes medication might cause cancer (it's Metformin.)

Seems that I can't win for losing. :(

Well the word is 'might' so try not to worry too much because only a very small number of people who take it might be affected?

Best wishes.
Hang in there x

I am at the age and have a high likelihood if early demise. And an increased odds it won't be cancer but my heart that kicks....

So I'm thinking of taking up steak, bacon and cigarettes again.

My BO meds have been pulled half a dozen times.,.what the hell.

When Leonard Cohen gave up smoking, he told himself that if he reached 80 he would start smoking again ... and he did.

He died at 82
