A Question (prefaced with an explanation)

I saw a new doctor earlier today to discuss the results of several tests that I had done (to figure out what's going on with me) and she told me that I have idiopathic hirsutism along with minor fibroids.

Anyway, my question is: were any of you diagnosed with or know anyone who was diagnosed with an idiopathic "disorder"? I'm just curious.

Basically she was saying, "We don't know why, but you're hairy." Idiopathic : "We don't know why X..."

Anyway, thank you for your sympathy. It's just back to the drawing board on this situation. Thank the PtBs that there are s to look at in (almost) all species.
