Notre-Dame Cathedral is on fire

I was negative on the expenditure and focus on the cathedral immediately after. But I have changed my mind watching the updates on 60 minutes news program over the years. From my distance it has helped rally spirit in the country. Looks like a billion well spent. If anyone knows of documentaries or interesting updates please link.

In the process they have rehabbed everything, the people focused on specific projects (a piece of art, stained glass, stone carving) have been titled companions to the project...sometimes to one piece. The building lasted 860 years, so they have built it back the same old ways, with the intention of it lasting another millenia (with the addition of fire suppression of course).

They have seen a resurgence in young people wanting to develop the skills it seems good for the country?
