I have an opportunity for scuba diving certification, any thoughts?

If it is one day during a cruiseq or vacation I suggest ya do it, and have fun under supervision.... But get full blown instruction before you go out alone.

Also remember to follow "The Buddy System". You're less likely to end up a casualty if you're with at least one level-headed, experienced diver.

Here's the deal, I have to learn study and learn PADI open Water Diver Manual with Table. 7 individual diving lessons diving shallow water pool and 40-60 meter recorded dives for certification.

That seems even better. Go through the training so that you can have peace of mind when you scuba, vs traveling somewhere and having someone show you how to use the equipment for only 5 minutes and send you on your way.

And you could be the level-headed expert on a dive!

Met with scuba diving instructor last Wednesday to pick up mediicaal form for my primary physcian. Due to COVID-19 virus, I have a video consulation with primary next Wednesday. My only concern is ongoing foot pain from childhood injury and I will not be able to scuba dive due to injured foot. Foot problem was minor until recieveing a cortisone on top of foot. Originnally, the pain was located alongside of foot where it was broken, howevver, the shot moved primary pain location to top of foot.

I have accupuncture two times a week to reduce pain and inflamtion.
