We don't actually formally celebrate, but always acknowledge it with some affection.
I suppose that is a celebration. :)

We do, March 25, 2020, this year (It changes, as we use a luni-solar calendar). That is Hindu New Year for most. But this year, it was lost to Corona virus.
 
Our celebration has slipped by some 23 days to April 13 due to precession of equinox. That means we are following what was around 1400 years ago. So, back to sixth Century, the days of Indian astronomer, Varahmihira.
