Wow! Have you watched any Joe Rogan podcasts at all? Have you followed his in depth interviews with Roger Penrose and Sean Carol, other scientists -- Elon Musk -- hundreds of others -- have you observed his research that goes into the interviews, and his objective skill at putting people at ease -- I think there are more than 2000 podcasts, around 3 hrs each -- without fear or favour.

Left or right, rich or poor, big or small -- doesn't matter: Joe Rogan takes 3 hrs to get to their heart and soul and let you see them show themselves just as they are. It's what makes him phenomenaly successful. Yes, and he gets a lot of haters for doing that ...

He's an honest voice, expressing his opinion -- and hated for it.

Idk what no platforming is. But I would have thought all my previous comments about him stated I was full aware...and stating he may be right half the time is not near enough for Ya?

Him bragging about keeping female comics offstage unless he got a ******* does not bode well.

Nor does calling folks who wear masks bitches.

Again his adversarial devils advocate style to me is marketing....as are the above statements he made. He is like Trump in this regard...building a base audience of rebels. Brutal honesty and being an intentional asshole are not far apart.

Again...totally realize he often has a point...but I aint drinking koolaide with him.

I will enjoy and watch his standup...And his podcasts...for entertainment... I follow links and read more to develop an opinion.

I don't know the context of those comments, but if they were made in a comedy situation they were probably tongue in cheek?

No platforming is refusing someone the right to speak. Because Rogan is an 'influencer' doesn't mean he has no right to express his opinions. I'm not saying you are doing that, but many people are doing that.

It is interesting because I am hugely in favor of using the platform, but it does sadden me when someone uses that platform to spread disinformation. As a magician folks pay you to lie for entertainment.

I think Joe knows what sells and parlays his fame into dollars quite well.

What disinformation? The haters wanted him to die. He got better very quickly. Fact. But then a person has to actually listen to the podcast to know it.

I think he knows that in an era of soundbites and memes and slanted news, people want to hear the whole story. They are prepared to take the time to absorb his 3 hr podcasts and go away with the full information with which to form their own educated opinion.
