Server issues

Apologies all - seems the server we're on isn't a happy chap. Aside from a string of MySQL errors and failed connections over the past few weeks, the server also seems very slow, and sometimes very unresponsive.

Obviously, this is not my preference, and I'm looking at options for dealing with this.

Please accept my apologies all, for the site not performing well under these conditions - will sort it out soon.

Sorry about this - still issues - but the hosting company is making major changes to the server hardware extremely soon.

Change on the hosting side is pretty imminent - the company is hoping to move their servers to a new datacenter from tomorrow, though it will be a long process.

Apparently I'll receive fair warning of what to do to help facilitate the move, but just in case, I'll keep everything well backed up.
