Bart Ehrman: Lost Christianities

´fun watch, I have always enjoyed Bart even tho I often dont agree theologically.
requirements of a PhD or rather academic expectations is to research, publish and teach...the dude does that!
I have read a.couple of his books... Misquoting Jesus, Gospel of Judas... He is prolific https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/bart-d-ehrman/
I have related before that I saw him at Unity Village Lyceum, where he debated Bishop Spong. And then ate with each individually in the mess hall and the three of us late one night in conversation in the lobby... He and Spong had similar discoveries on their path...as have many that what we were.taught was not entirely correct...that things were glossed over, changed, edited, and we were not informed.
We all felt lied to, deceived. Which made Bart reject, Spong dig and become more devout, and me to set theology seriousness aside and.become more of a casual observer than seeker.
By the time I met them i was into Unity Metaphysics but while.still a nonbeliever in OT G!d like Bart, I valued the scripture and words of Jesus similar to Jack.
