Pre-Islamic Christian Monastery in UAE

6th in the area? 2nd in UAE, I ndications that this exists because it is on an abandoned island that once was populated. Odds are there are foundations of many churches and monasteries under existing buildings and from my experience when someone pays you millions to build a new high rise, very few call in the archeologists when you find old foundations, artifacts or even bones 40' down, the owner would not be pleased with construction delays
 
Goes to show ya ya get more interest and commentary by providing a new thread, a headline/title and a little synopsis of the piece and your observation inviting comment than buried in one of our amalgam threads
