The Empty Boat

It's so true. I went through something profound last November that changed me. In Christianity it's called Rhema where Scripture comes alive and God's word becomes power and changes you. I learned that offense is a tool used by the enemy to break down relationships and cause conflict.. Offense causes anger resentment jealousy all of the negative emotions that hinder Jesus' command to love and forgive one another.

I spent two months grieving and reflecting back on my life all the times I hardened my heart towards people that hurt me. I sadly felt justified by my offense. It's simple now.. I choose to not be offended. It's still a work in progress but its becoming easier to identify offense. It's made my marriage stronger and it's healed so many of my relationships. I choose instead to allow God's love the agape love to fill my empty boat.

Thanks for the short video!

IO feels a bit like an 'empty boat', at the moment.

@RJM and I had worked hard on the site between us, with others providing moderation support.
We were beginning to get higher google ratings, and more new members.

It's probably due to the season, but it seems to be pretty dead right now. 😐

I see the story reflects the concept that heaven and hell are also a relative state of mind.

We are the good and we are the evil, it is our choices. We are made in the image of God and as such;

"Every good thing is of God, and every evil thing is from yourselves. Will ye not comprehend?" – Baha'u'llah, Gleanings From the Writings of Baha'u'llah, pp. 149-150.15
