24 of the 90 seats went to the polls yesterday in South Kashmir. 61% voting which going by the Kashmir standards was very high. Which party did they vote for is immaterial. No untoward incident reported. The second phase of election will be on September 25 and the last on October 1. Results will be announced on October 8.
