a figment of your imagination

I caught hell comparing some of St Thomas Aquinas visions to psychedelic hallucinations in the 70s. My professor gave my paper a B but his notes indicated that he did not approve of my investigation methods and suggested I not continue.

Well that youngster had been "experimenting" for awhile....and not under the direction of doctors at John Hopkins although thousands have today as 'entheogens' are have undergone a medical resurgence as the war on drugs has evolved to using actual science and not fear mongering.

I don't recall what I wrote almost 50 years ago... I do know my father tore it up when I offered it to him to read...

Yeah ...

I wonder on whjat basis your discussion of St Thomas was based?

There is no certain account of St Thomas's mystical experience – if indeed 'experience' is a relevant term at all? The account of a talking crucifix given by a fellow brother, Dominic Caserta, seems dubious to me?

The paper seems much more circumspect in its conclusions ...
