The Ocean and Religious Doctrine

This came up on my feed on YouTube. It refers to statements made by religious authorities about the importance of the ocean.

A beautiful video...

I've only stood next to the sea on a few occasions, but its a good reminder of how small and insignificant we really are...

And the reminder that we are mostly water... interconnectedness.
 
That just changed the vibration...

Also touched on the troubles of removing religion from politics and politics from discussion.

It is not oil and water....all is one.

My wish is that you get to do it again... when your entire view is just ocean and sky...it opens a portal of thought in your mind...

For me, the land dropping off left the biggest impression.

I drove and drove and the land went on, and on...and all the sudden, it was gone. And all there was was... nothing. (Water.)
 
Since my early childhood, nature, woods and seashore in particular, have given me rather strange feelings. Feelings which I now consider to be spiritual.
I have never managed to put my feelings into words, but these four lines from Byron get quite close.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
