Just to apologise for the down time. We were originally hosted with Westhost, but over the last couple of weeks not only did they lose a full week's worth of posts, they also tried to migrate all of their clients to another hosting service and it went completely fubar, leaving all of their...www.interfaith.org
TL;DR, we suffered a massive server failure last year.
It's all gone - I couldn't do a full server move so had to rebuild the forums from scratch. Anything that shows as lost is unfortunately gone.The images are actually on the server .. it might be something to do with settings

It used to be the case that images could be saved either in the database or the server. Anything in the database was safe, but anything saved to the server is gone. For example, one of the missing images should be found with this link:No .. the images are still on the server.

However, the image is missing - unfortunately gone. It seems to specifically apply to older images rather than newer ones, presumably because of a settings change at some point, possibly from a software upgrade.

I don't see any mileage in trying to edit and tidy up threads a few years old. Discussion moves on, am sure you'll get the opportunity to use any such images again.Thanks everyone for looking into it.
I was thinking of putting the images back in, however the editing is turned off.
