This is a made-up story about Jesus and Christianity, that I think might be true. It doesn't say if He is or isn't God, or if He did miracles or not, or if He saves us or how. It's just a story about what He might have said and done and what might have happened around Him, and how Christianity might have started.
His given name may or may not have been a Hebrew or Aramaic word translated as "savior." That could just be what people started calling Him when they started thinking of Him that way. He taught spiritual lessons in and between Galilee and Jerusalem, in public talks, and in private lessons to twelve people called "the twelve" and/or "the apostles." He lived for some time in Capernaum, and a community grew up around Him under His guidance and care, learning to practice His teachings together in their everyday lives. That way of life spread to other communities in all directions. In the Roman empire outside of Jewish lands, it mingled with Greek and Roman traditions, and that became what we call "Christianity" today.
