No alcohol in Marmite. I can't tell you if it is actually hair of the dog, however a large dollop of Marmite should awaken anyone.
Maybe it's a path to self-realization

Marmite is a savoury food spread, based on yeast extract.

It has a very distinctive taste, and people either tend to like it or loathe it, there's no half measures! I can't abide the stuff.

Maybe for the occasional medicinal requirement. Other than that no one needs it.

I gave it up in 1984 when I joined the Baha'i Faith and was informed it was a law of the faith.

I love the wisdom behind this law.

Spirits, the Holy Spirit on the other hand is needed by all, at least 3 times daily. ;):D

Nothing better than being intoxicated by the Love of God.
