Jesus's authority from the God of Abraham

I want to highlight Jesus's authority from the God of Abraham, because I think it's part of what people need to be aware of and understand, to benefit from his teaching and what he did, and what he can do in people's lives. Here are some ways that I see his authority from God being proclaimed in the New Testament:
- God calls Jesus his son
- He is raised to a throne at the right hand of God.
- He is the one who will judge people on the day of resurrection.
- He says that he has all authority from God, and he talks and acts like that is true.
 
The point of all that for me is that service and obedience to Jesus is service and obedience to the God of Abraham. In fact, it's the very meaning of service and obedience to God. The law is a lamp for the light of God, and all of that light is in him and what he says to do.

I see that I made a mistake in the way that I presented this. It looks like an argument for Christianity. I don’t intend it that way. I won’t be arguing that anything in the New Testament is true. To be honest I am imagining that most of it actually happened, possibly some of it only metaphorically, but I won’t be trying to convince anyone of that. I’ll be posting thoughts about it says about Jesus, and some effects that might have had on society.

It looks to me like the New Testament is saying in various ways that service and obedience to Jesus counts a service and obedience to God, and that he gave talks that were heard by multitudes of people who thought he was a prophet. His talks were mostly not about his authority. They were mostly about how Jews could be faithful to God without the Temple. Not explicitly so, but what he was saying served that purpose. If multitudes of people thought he was a prophet and heard those talks, that might have done a lot to help spread the understandings that helped Jews live without the Temple.

As the teachings of Jesus spread into the gentile part of society, he was presented as the regent of the God of Israel, meaning that service and obedience to him counts as service and obedience to God, and had the same effects in society and for people individually as people practicing the teachings in Jewish scriptures in the right spirit.
 
To put it a different way, what I'm planning to discuss here has nothing to do with Christianity at all. It's about Jews and gentiles, and some effects that Jesus might have had on people in their societies. Of course what I'm saying about that will be based on what the New Testament says about him, but it isn't about what Christianity has done with that.
 
I'm thinking that everything Jesus says about himself in the gospels, and everything in Paul's high Christology, is about Jesus's authority from the God of Abraham.

How that might have affected gentile society is that his authority as God's regent gave gentiles a way to know God's will without the mitzvot.

How it might have affected Jewish society is that multitudes of people who saw him as a prophet heard him saying things that later helped Israel live without the Temple. Not that he was the only one saying those things, but that he did a lot to help spread those understandings.
