    Gebet, um Ihren Partner zurückzubringen

At least one recent person - remember @spiritualbee -- was typing in another language. However with @medium, there is another post on another thread that looks like marketing. https://www.interfaith.org/community/threads/21377/#post-398029

    The Principle of Orthodoxy

Yes, that idea must have been in something I read or heard when I was a kid, because I recall having that idea and trying to explain it to somebody.

What is religion, and how is it a thing?

I think of religions as theories. I also used to think they were like contracts where you get what you sign on for, and when people claimed their religion overrode all other religions (looking at the most dominant strains in Christianity and Islam) I just couldn't figure it out.

Also Transcendentalism I believe I didn't know Christian Nationalism was about self help and the idea that illness arises in the mind. That actually sounds more like New Thought, including Unity, though more profoundly in Christian Science or Religious Science. Christian Nationalism was, I...

    The Principle of Orthodoxy

Where do we get that information from? (Clarity as to whether a claim is "valid" - what constitutes valid?) After all I suppose it could be said that Christianity was -- or at least strove to become -- internally orthodox though heterodox in relation to Judaism. Christians then and now feel...

The Archeology of the Kingdom of God: Diving a Bit Deeper into a Baha'i Approach to Metaphysics

The idea of the many faceted jewel is an idea I had when I was a kid. I wonder if I read or heard it somewhere? I think I might have even put that on my Headcanon thread... I thought of the throne of God as like a multifaceted gemstone he was within, like a shuttlecraft, and each religion could...

This reminds me of Unity Church, which to me seemed like a common-man's school of comparative religion. (Or a common man's school of perennialism)

    The Principle of Orthodoxy

Bahai being intrinsically orthodox but extrinsically heterodox in relation to earlier Abrahamic faiths Mormonism being internally orthodox but extrinsically heterodox in relation to Christianity. (Perhaps various categories of Christianity in relationship to themselves AND other or older...

What is religion, and how is it a thing?

I always thought a defining feature of religion was belief about, if not a God, then about a supernatural order, possibly including theories about the afterlife and often with theories about supernatural beings, and often theories about human morality. For some people only their own religion...

What is religion, and how is it a thing?

Dan McClellan weighs in again about the phenomenon of religion, noting our evolutionary history has made us "sensitive to the presence of agency in the world around us" which influences how groups and individuals relate to the world and his idea of how this leads to religion as a phenomenon and...
